Job Description

At Bank of America we’re looking for an experienced Quality Engineer - Payments to join our team. As a Quality Engineer - Payments, you will take ownership of the end-to-end quality assurance of our payment processing and related products.You should have an eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot, identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently. We’re looking for a passionate problem-solver who has a knack for developing innovative solutions to complex problems.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in the payments space. You should have technical expertise in developing automated tests and a deep understanding of the software development life cycle. You should also have experience in developing performance and scalability tests. Knowledge of SQL and web services is a plus.Are you a highly motivated problem solver who is passionate about quality engineering? Do you have a proven track record of developing automated tests and experience with payment processing systems? If so, then Bank of America may be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of the end-to-end quality assurance of payment processing and related products.
  2. Troubleshoot and identify problems quickly and efficiently.
  3. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  4. Develop automated tests and have a deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
  5. Develop performance and scalability tests.
  6. Have technical expertise in SQL and web services.
  7. Analyze customer requirements and develop test plans to ensure quality standards are met.
  8. Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  9. Implement quality processes and procedures.
  10. Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
  11. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality.
