- Continuously review and improve the bank's FRTB compliance processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to FRTB compliance and incorporate them into the bank's strategies and processes.
- Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders on FRTB compliance issues, potential risks, and recommended solutions.
- Monitor and manage the budget for the FRTB Centre of Excellence, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Develop and maintain a strong network with internal and external stakeholders to stay informed of industry trends and best practices related to FRTB compliance.
- Represent Bank of America in industry forums and conferences related to FRTB compliance.
Extensive Knowledge Of Frtb Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Fundamental Review Of The Trading Book (Frtb) Regulations And Its Impact On The Banking Industry. They Should Be Well-Versed In The Latest Updates And Developments Related To Frtb And Be Able To Provide Strategic Direction For The Bank's Frtb Compliance Efforts.
Strong Risk Management Background: The Head Of Frtb Centre Of Excellence Must Have A Strong Background In Risk Management, Preferably Within The Banking Or Financial Services Industry. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Market Risk, Credit Risk, And Other Relevant Risk Types, And Be Able To Apply This Knowledge To Frtb-Related Initiatives.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Professionals Responsible For Frtb Compliance.
