  1. Oversee the operations and controls of Bank of America's global markets division to ensure the highest level of risk management and compliance.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote efficient and effective operations.
  3. Conduct regular audits and reviews of processes and controls to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  4. Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure that the global markets division is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Collaborate with various teams, including risk management and compliance, to ensure consistent and effective implementation of controls.
  6. Train and educate team members on best practices for risk management and compliance.
  7. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  8. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  9. Foster a culture of accountability and responsibility for risk management and compliance within the global markets division.
  10. Serve as a key point of contact for external regulatory bodies and communicate any necessary updates or changes to senior management.
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and controls to adapt to changing regulations and market conditions.
  13. Lead and mentor a team of operations and control professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Similar Role Within A Financial Institution, With A Strong Understanding Of Global Markets Operations.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field. Advanced Degree Or Relevant Certifications (E.g. Cfa, Frm) Preferred.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Leading Cross-Functional Projects, With A Track Record Of Delivering Results And Driving Process Improvements.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices Related To Global Markets Operations And Control Functions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Stakeholders At All Levels, Both Internally And Externally.
