- Develop and implement global financial crimes compliance and operational risk management strategies and policies for Bank of America.
- Monitor and assess the organization's compliance with internal policies, regulations, and laws related to financial crimes and operational risks.
- Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of potential financial crime activities and operational risks, and take appropriate actions to mitigate and report them.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to financial crimes and operational risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management and compliance across all business areas and regions.
- Train and educate employees on compliance and risk management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and risk management.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify potential areas of improvement and recommend solutions to enhance the organization's compliance and risk management processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other departments on compliance and risk-related matters.
- Lead and manage a team of compliance and risk professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness throughout the organization.
- Uphold ethical standards and promote a strong culture of integrity and ethical behavior.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to stay current with emerging trends and technologies in financial crimes and operational risk management.
- Represent Bank of America in regulatory and compliance audits and examinations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Risks.
Bachelor’s Degree In Finance, Accounting, Economics, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Financial Crimes Compliance And Operational Risk Management, Preferably In A Global Bank.
In-Depth Understanding Of Global Financial Crime Laws And Regulations, Including Aml, Sanctions, And Anti-Corruption.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Topics To Senior Management.
