
Ethical Hacking Penetration Testing Analyst
As a Bank of America Ethical Hacking Penetration Testing Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to identify any vulnerabilities in the Bank’s systems and security protocols. In this role, you will work closely with a team of security professionals to identify potential threats through ethical hacking and penetration testing. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical and analytical skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about security and can think outside the box to help us keep Bank of America’s systems secure. The candidate should have a positive attitude and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate should have:• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field• At least three years of experience in a security-related role• Extensive knowledge of ethical hacking and penetration testing tools, techniques, and procedures• A strong understanding of network security protocols and firewalls• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• A strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically• The ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you have the technical and interpersonal skills required for this role and you want to make a real difference to the security of Bank of America’s systems, then we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute ethical hacking and penetration tests of Bank of America systems to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Create detailed reports of test results and provide recommendations to strengthen security protocols
- Develop and maintain secure coding practices
- Use scripting languages such as Python or Perl to automate security processes
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect malicious activity
- Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and industry best practices
- Collaborate with a team of security professionals to resolve security issues
- Monitor system logs and investigate suspicious activity
- Respond to security incidents and provide support to emergency teams
- Provide training and guidance to other team members
