
Ethical Hacking Penetration Testing Analyst
At Bank of America, we are looking for an Ethical Hacking Penetration Testing Analyst to join our team and help further enhance the safety and security of our systems. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for security and a strong technical background in ethical hacking. They will possess the necessary skills and experience to recognize and mitigate security risks to our systems.To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field. Hands-on experience with ethical hacking tools and frameworks, such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and nmap, is also required. Moreover, a working knowledge of the security incident response process and an understanding of security best practices are essential.Beyond the qualifications, we are looking for someone with a customer-centric attitude and excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate must have an aptitude for staying abreast of the latest security trends and be passionate about protecting our systems from cyber threats. Responsibilities:
- Utilize ethical hacking tools and frameworks to identify and mitigate security risks to Bank of America’s systems.
- Monitor and assess system security on a regular basis.
- Work with IT teams to ensure security best practices are being followed.
- Research emerging security trends and advise management accordingly.
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect systems from cyber threats.
- Document security incidents and coordinate with IT teams to resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with IT staff to ensure that system security is continually updated and maintained.
- Train and educate IT staff on security protocols and best practices.
- Troubleshoot security issues and provide technical support when needed.
- Stay abreast of the latest security developments and industry trends.
