- Develop and implement the bank's ESG strategy and goals, in alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the bank's ESG program, including policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of ESG considerations into business operations.
- Monitor and report on progress towards ESG goals and targets, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices related to ESG, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the program.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, industry associations, and ESG rating agencies.
- Lead the development and delivery of ESG training and education programs for employees at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements related to ESG.
- Represent the bank at conferences, events, and other forums to promote the bank's ESG initiatives and build partnerships.
- Act as a champion for ESG within the organization, promoting a culture of sustainability and responsible business practices.
- Manage a team of ESG professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the bank's ESG program to drive positive impact and enhance reputation.
- Communicate the bank's ESG efforts and achievements to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and implement ESG messaging and campaigns.
- Identify and mitigate potential ESG risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging ESG trends and regulations, and proactively make recommendations for adjustments to the program.
- Foster a culture of transparency and accountability in regards to ESG practices and performance.
- Act as a role model for ethical behavior and responsible decision-making in all aspects of the job.

Knowledge Of Esg Principles And Regulations: The Esg Program Governance Manager Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Environmental, Social, And Governance Principles And Regulations, Including Relevant Laws And Industry Best Practices.
Experience In Program Management: This Role Requires Experience In Managing Complex Programs, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. The Candidate Should Be Able To Develop And Implement Effective Strategies To Drive Esg Initiatives Across The Organization.
Strong Analytical And Reporting Skills: The Esg Program Governance Manager Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills To Collect And Interpret Data Related To Esg Performance. They Should Also Be Able To Prepare Comprehensive Reports And Presentations To Communicate Key Insights And Recommendations To Senior Management.
Stakeholder Management: This Role Involves Working With Various Internal And External Stakeholders Such As Regulators, Investors, And Community Organizations. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Building And Maintaining Relationships With These Stakeholders To Drive Collaboration And Achieve Esg Goals.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Leader Of The Esg Program, The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage And Motivate Team Members And Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Articulate The Organization's Esg Strategy And Goals To Internal And External Audiences.
