- Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate environmental and social risks within the financial industry.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential risks and develop risk management plans.
- Collaborate with various teams across the bank to ensure alignment and integration of environmental and social risk management practices.
- Monitor and report on emerging environmental and social trends and regulations, and assess their potential impact on the bank.
- Advise and consult with internal stakeholders on best practices for promoting responsible business practices.
- Lead trainings and workshops to increase awareness and understanding of environmental and social risks and their management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, industry associations, and community organizations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices related to environmental and social risk management.
- Communicate and present risk assessment findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to colleagues on environmental and social risk management practices.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Environmental And Social Risk Management, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Industry.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Or Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Global Environmental And Social Issues, Regulations, And Best Practices.
Experience With Developing And Implementing Environmental And Social Risk Management Frameworks And Policies.
Excellent Analytical, Communication, And Stakeholder Management Skills.
