- Develop and implement market risk management strategies for Bank of America's EMEA equities portfolio.
- Monitor and analyze market risk exposures on a daily basis and report any significant changes or potential issues to senior management.
- Utilize advanced risk management tools and techniques to identify, measure, and mitigate market risk.
- Collaborate with other teams within the bank to ensure risk management policies and procedures are followed.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the impact of market events on the portfolio.
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Work closely with traders and portfolio managers to understand their strategies and provide risk management advice.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators and industry peers.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of market risk management.
- Train and mentor junior team members on market risk principles and best practices.
- Stay informed about the bank's overall risk appetite and ensure that market risk limits and guidelines are in line with this.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and finance, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of market risk data.
- Act as a subject matter expert on market risk management and provide guidance to other teams within the bank.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk management policies and procedures.
Strong Understanding Of Emea Equities Markets: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Solid Understanding Of The Emea Equities Market, Including Market Dynamics, Key Players, And Regulatory Frameworks.
Extensive Risk Management Experience: This Role Requires A Candidate With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Market Risk Management, Preferably In The Emea Equities Market. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Identifying, Analyzing, And Managing Risks.
Knowledge Of Financial Products And Instruments: A Deep Understanding Of Various Financial Products And Instruments, Such As Equities, Derivatives, And Structured Products, Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have A Strong Grasp Of Valuation Techniques And Risk Measurement Methodologies.
Strong Analytical And Quantitative Skills: The Emea Equities Market Risk Manager Will Be Responsible For Analyzing And Interpreting Large Amounts Of Data To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Risk Management Strategies.
