  1. Develop and implement data governance strategies and policies to ensure the accuracy, security, and availability of Bank of America's data assets.
  2. Lead and manage a team of data governance professionals to execute data governance initiatives and projects.
  3. Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to understand data needs and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
  4. Monitor and assess data quality, integrity, and security across all systems and processes.
  5. Identify potential data risks and develop mitigation plans to address them.
  6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulations.
  7. Provide guidance and support to business units on data governance best practices and procedures.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data governance and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Drive the adoption of data governance policies and procedures through effective communication and training.
  10. Partner with IT teams to implement data governance tools and technologies.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure data governance standards are met.
  12. Regularly report on the progress and effectiveness of data governance initiatives to senior management.
  13. Ensure all data governance activities are aligned with the overall business strategy and goals.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve data governance processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on data governance matters to stakeholders across the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Data Management, Computer Science, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Data Governance Or Data Management, Preferably Within The Banking Or Financial Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Data Governance Principles And Best Practices, Including Data Quality, Metadata Management, And Data Privacy Regulations.

  • Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Complex Projects Related To Data Governance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
