Job Description

Data Platform Services OMNI initiative is looking for a Java, Python Engineer who will be responsible for development of the OMNI Big Data Platform. The ideal candidate is someone who has hands-on experience developing in the Java and Python environment. The candidate will be working with agile teams and responsible for all aspects of SDLC. Hands on experience in data platform’s such as Oracle, Cloudera, Single Store, Azure Synapse, NO SQL databases. Ability/Knowledge to work with all aspects of SDLC and Agile development framework. Ability to analyze, identify issues when working with large data sets, suggest architectural design changes.

Job Qualifications

  • Seven years of Java and five plus years of Python hands on development experience in coding for Big Data eco systems.

  • Extensive experience in application development

  • Excellent analytical and business process flows, design and diagrams skills

  • Ability to pick up new concepts and apply to knowledge
