  1. Develop and implement audit plans and procedures for counterparty credit risk in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead and manage a team of auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
  3. Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks related to counterparty credit risk.
  4. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Monitor and report on the status of audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
  6. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure audit findings are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to counterparty credit risk and incorporate them into audit processes.
  8. Provide guidance and training to team members on audit methodologies and best practices.
  9. Prepare and present audit reports and findings to senior management and other relevant parties.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  11. Conduct special investigations and ad-hoc projects as needed.
  12. Continuously review and improve audit processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Mentor and develop team members to promote growth and career advancement.
  14. Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and standards.
  15. Represent the organization in a professional manner and act as a role model for ethical behavior.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Auditing Counterparty Credit Risk At A Large Financial Institution.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices Related To Counterparty Credit Risk.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Assess Potential Risks And Develop Effective Mitigation Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Information To Senior Management.

  • Relevant Professional Certifications, Such As Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or Certified Internal Auditor (Cia), And A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
