  1. Provide legal advice and guidance to Bank of America's Capital Markets team on a variety of complex transactions and regulatory matters.
  2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and disclosures.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and compliance professionals, to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
  5. Advise on the legal implications of new products and services, and participate in the development and implementation of new initiatives.
  6. Represent Bank of America in negotiations and discussions with external parties, including clients, regulators, and other financial institutions.
  7. Stay current on industry trends and developments, and proactively advise on potential impacts to Bank of America's capital markets business.
  8. Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions to educate colleagues on legal and regulatory matters related to capital markets.
  9. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing strategic legal counsel and recommendations to support business goals and objectives.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation and records, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  11. Continuously monitor and assess legal and regulatory changes, and proactively propose and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
  12. Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed to support Bank of America's capital markets transactions and initiatives.
  13. Uphold Bank of America's ethical standards and values, and act with integrity and professionalism at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Active License To Practice Law In The State Where The Job Is Located

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Capital Markets Law, Preferably At A Top Law Firm Or Financial Institution

  • Strong Understanding Of Securities Regulations And Compliance Requirements

  • Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Negotiate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
