Gemologist

At Balenciaga, we are looking for a talented, dedicated, and experienced Gemologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, identifying, and certifying gemstones for Balenciaga products and collections. The ideal Gemologist must have extensive knowledge and experience in gemology, and a passion for gemstones and jewelry. We are looking for a motivated individual who can bring their expertise and enthusiasm to our team and help us create the most exquisite jewelry pieces.The successful candidate must have a degree in Gemology from an accredited institution, as well as a minimum of five years of experience in the field. They should also have a comprehensive understanding of the industry, including knowledge of the 4 C’s (color, clarity, cut and carat weight), gemstone treatments, and the latest industry standards. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
