We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Data Engineer to join Bain & Company's Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who is passionate about data engineering, analytics, and technology and brings a strong technical acumen to the role. The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of data systems, analytics, and reporting applications.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. In addition, you will need extensive experience in data engineering, data warehousing, ETL, and analytics tools. You should be highly organized and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data systems, analytics, and reporting applications.
Implement ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
Optimize existing data systems and analytics applications.
Utilize software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies such as Agile.
Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and create solutions accordingly.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Analyze data to identify trends and develop insights.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices in data engineering.
