Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our team at Bain & Company! As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leading data engineering initiatives and developing innovative solutions to support data operations. You will be working closely with our data team to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders. You should have a deep understanding of data engineering principles and be able to identify potential data-related risks. Additionally, you should be familiar with a range of data engineering tools and technologies.The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced data engineer who has a passion for developing data-driven solutions and is able to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. If you have a strong technical background, are results-oriented, and have the ability to think strategically, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Lead data engineering initiatives and develop innovative solutions to support data operations.
Work closely with the data team to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines.
Identify potential data-related risks and troubleshoot data engineering problems.
Develop and implement data engineering strategies to meet business goals.
Monitor and analyze data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Monitor data engineering tools and technologies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes.
Participate in the design and implementation of data architectures.
Evaluate existing data engineering processes and make recommendations for improvement.
