Job Description

At Bain & Company, we are looking for a Lead Data Engineer who is passionate about innovation and excellence in data engineering. The ideal candidate will have a depth of experience in data engineering, data management, and data analysis, as well as a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and the ability to develop data-driven solutions. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers supporting the full life cycle of data-driven projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of analytic insights and will use your technical expertise to leverage data engineering best practices.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in data engineering, data management, and/or data analysis. You will also need to demonstrate a strong track record of successful project delivery and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. Experience with cloud-based technologies and modern data engineering frameworks is essential. We are looking for a data engineering professional who can bring creative ideas and enthusiasm to our team.

-Manage a team of data engineers -Work with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of analytic insights -Leverage data engineering best practices -Develop and maintain cloud-based technologies and modern data engineering frameworks -Analyze and model data to develop data-driven solutions -Provide technical direction and guidance to team -Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success -Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights -Develop and maintain data engineering processes and procedures -Train and mentor team members on data engineering principles and best practices
