Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Associate Director of Data Engineering to join our team at Bain & Company. Our ideal candidate is an ambitious, solutions-oriented individual who is passionate about innovation and the power of data. The Associate Director of Data Engineering will be responsible for leading an engineering team tasked with creating and delivering data-driven solutions to our clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data engineering, a track record of developing successful data solutions, and the ability to lead a team to successful outcomes.Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in a data engineering role, with a focus on designing and developing innovative data solutions• In-depth knowledge of data engineering processes and technologies, including data warehousing, data integration, ETL, reporting, and analytics• Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of engineers to successful outcomes• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute data engineering strategies to achieve business objectives.
Create and implement innovative data solutions to meet client needs.
Lead a team of engineers to create and deliver successful data solutions.
Monitor and optimize data engineering processes and technologies.
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Collaborate with other departments to develop data-driven solutions.
Develop strategies to ensure data accuracy and security.
Ensure compliance with data-related regulations and policies.
Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials for data engineering processes.
