We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Associate Director of Analytics Application Engineering (Backend Engineer) to join our team at Bain & Company. As the Associate Director of Analytics Application Engineering (Backend Engineer), you'll be responsible for developing and implementing backend solutions to support the analytics platform. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization and to help shape our technology solutions.The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, with 5+ years of software engineering experience and a passion for developing innovative backend solutions. You must also have a deep understanding of software engineering best practices and methodologies, and be comfortable working with large datasets. Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies is highly desirable. The successful candidate must also have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement backend solutions to support the analytics platform
Utilize software engineering best practices and methodologies to design, build, and maintain backend solutions
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of backend solutions
Analyze and process large datasets
Utilize distributed systems and big data technologies to enhance the analytics platform
Troubleshoot any issues related to backend solutions
Research new technologies to stay up-to-date on the latest innovations
Maintain a high level of communication with team members and stakeholders
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to optimize backend solutions
