- Perform welding tasks according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including but not limited to MIG, TIG, and stick welders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of welded components through visual inspections and use of precision measuring instruments.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures when handling and using welding equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the welding process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Continuously improve welding techniques and knowledge through training and development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to provide updates on progress and any potential challenges.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and documentation.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging technologies related to welding.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Welding, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Defense Industry Setting.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent; Technical Or Vocational Training In Welding Is Preferred.
Must Be Proficient In Various Welding Techniques, Including Mig, Tig, And Stick Welding.
Knowledge Of Welding Materials And Equipment, Including The Ability To Read And Interpret Welding Blueprints And Schematics.
Ability To Pass Required Welding Certification Tests And Maintain Certifications As Needed.
