- Oversee all welding and NDT processes within the company, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve welding and NDT processes and procedures.
- Train and mentor team members on welding and NDT techniques and best practices.
- Ensure proper certification and qualification of welding and NDT personnel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any welding or NDT related issues.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the quality and integrity of welding and NDT processes.
- Manage and maintain welding and NDT equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and implement new technologies and techniques as appropriate.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on welding and NDT processes and address any concerns or questions.
- Create and maintain documentation and reports related to welding and NDT processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all welding and NDT activities.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to source necessary welding and NDT materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with the research and development team to drive innovation and improve welding and NDT processes.
- Represent the company in industry conferences and events related to welding and NDT.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Welding Engineering And Ndt Inspection, Preferably In A Defense Or Aerospace Industry.
Certified Ndt Level Iii In Multiple Methods (E.g. Ut, Pt, Mt, Rt) And Knowledgeable In Asnt Or Nas 410 Standards.
Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Weld Engineers And Ndt Technicians.
Strong Understanding Of Welding Processes, Materials, And Quality Control Standards, Including Asme, Aws, And Mil-Std Specifications.
