  1. Lead the systems engineering integration and testing efforts for defense and aerospace projects at BAE Systems.
  2. Establish and maintain clear project objectives and goals for the SEIT team.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and testing of complex systems.
  4. Develop and implement integration and testing strategies, plans, and procedures.
  5. Ensure that all integration and testing activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  6. Identify and mitigate any risks and issues related to integration and testing.
  7. Monitor and report on the progress of integration and testing activities to project stakeholders.
  8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  9. Collaborate with project managers to ensure integration and testing timelines and budgets are met.
  10. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in systems engineering, integration, and testing.
  11. Continuously improve processes and procedures for integration and testing.
  12. Act as a point of contact for any integration and testing related matters.
  13. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  14. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and team members.
  15. Ensure that all integration and testing activities are conducted with a high level of quality and accuracy.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Background In Systems Engineering: A Seit Lead At Bae Systems Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Systems Engineering Principles And Processes, Including Requirements Management, System Design, And Testing.

  • Experience In Leading Complex Integration And Test Efforts: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Integration And Test Efforts For Complex Systems, Preferably In A Defense Or Aerospace Industry.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations: Bae Systems Operates In A Highly Regulated Environment, And The Seit Lead Must Be Familiar With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 15288 And Mil-Std-810, To Ensure Compliance In All Aspects Of The Job.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Seit Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Project Schedules, Budgets, And Resources. Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks, Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: The Seit Lead Will Be Working With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders, Both Within Bae Systems And With External Partners. Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Crucial For Building And Maintaining Positive Working Relationships And Effectively Managing Project Teams.
