- Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes to support the successful execution of complex programs.
- Lead a team of supply chain professionals and provide guidance and direction to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and take necessary actions to address any issues or concerns.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products and services.
- Work closely with program managers to understand program requirements and develop supply chain strategies that support program goals and objectives.
- Manage the supply chain budget and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain processes and procedures.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on supply chain status and address any issues or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain management.
- Mentor and train junior supply chain team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Defense Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Strong Project Management Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Executing Complex Supply Chain Projects.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Supply Chain Processes And Systems, Including Inventory Management, Procurement, And Supplier Management.
