- Develop and implement software configuration management procedures and policies.
- Monitor and control changes to software products, including source code, documentation, and related artifacts.
- Perform regular audits and reviews of software configuration management processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to identify and resolve issues related to version control, build processes, and software releases.
- Maintain and update software configuration management tools and systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of software releases.
- Communicate and report on software configuration management status and issues to project stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Train and mentor team members on software configuration management processes and tools.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in software configuration management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Software Development Processes And Methodologies, Including Agile And Waterfall.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Configuration Management, Preferably In A Defense Or Aerospace Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Software Version Control Systems (E.g. Git, Svn), Build Tools (E.g. Maven, Gradle), And Issue Tracking Systems (E.g. Jira).
