BAE Systems is seeking a Senior International Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team and help us navigate the complex world of global trade.   1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of international regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of global trade laws and regulations, including export controls, import regulations, and sanctions programs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support on trade compliance matters.
  4. Review and assess import and export transactions to identify potential compliance risks and ensure proper documentation.
  5. Provide training and guidance to employees on trade compliance policies and procedures.
  6. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with trade regulations and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date on changes in international trade regulations and communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with trade regulations.
  9. Assist with the preparation of export and import license applications and other trade-related documents.
  10. Respond to inquiries and requests from government agencies regarding trade compliance matters.
  11. Monitor and track shipments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  12. Identify and report any potential violations of trade regulations and work with management to address and resolve any issues.
  13. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trade compliance activities.
  14. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance trade compliance operations.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions related to trade compliance matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In International Trade, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Trade Compliance, Preferably In A Hybrid Role Combining Import/Export And Itar/Ear Compliance.

  • Strong Knowledge Of U.s. And International Trade Laws And Regulations, Including Itar, Ear, Ofac, And Other Relevant Regulations.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Trade Compliance Policies And Procedures, As Well As Conducting Training And Audits.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Trade Compliance Requirements To All Levels Of The Organization.
