Job Description

  1. Develop and implement security policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  3. Oversee and manage security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  4. Monitor and analyze security incidents and provide timely and accurate reports to senior management.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  6. Stay updated on current security trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously improve security measures.
  7. Manage security budgets and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  8. Conduct investigations and provide guidance on appropriate disciplinary actions for security breaches.
  9. Maintain relationships with external security agencies and law enforcement to ensure prompt response and support in the event of a security incident.
  10. Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
  11. Review and approve security protocols for company events and travel arrangements.
  12. Act as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters and provide guidance to employees on security protocols and procedures.
  13. Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure physical and digital security measures are integrated and effective.
  14. Create and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness.
  15. Conduct regular reviews and updates of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Security, Or Criminal Justice.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Security Management, Preferably In A Defense Or Government Contracting Industry.

  • Familiarity With Government Security Regulations And Procedures, Such As Nispom, Dod 5200.01, And Icd 705.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Security Professionals.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With All Levels Of Employees, Clients, And Government Representatives.
