
SCA Electronic Technician III

- Perform routine and complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems used in the U.S. Navy's Shipboard C4I systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis of electronic components and systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Utilize technical manuals, drawings, and schematics to accurately diagnose and resolve electronic issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and implement solutions for system improvements and upgrades.
- Adhere to strict quality and safety standards while working with sensitive electronic equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including updating system logs and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on proper procedures and techniques for maintenance and repair.
- Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to provide updates on progress and any potential issues.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as government regulations, to ensure compliance and successful completion of projects.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards or risks in the work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments and external vendors as needed to obtain necessary materials and support for projects.
- Participate in the development and testing of new electronic systems and components.
- Contribute to the overall success of the team by actively participating in meetings, providing suggestions for process improvements, and assisting with other tasks as needed.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Electronic Systems Maintenance And Troubleshooting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Military Electronic Systems And Their Components.
Proficient In Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings, Schematics, And Diagrams.
Ability To Use Various Diagnostic Tools And Equipment To Identify And Resolve Electronic Issues.
Familiarity With Safety Protocols And Procedures For Handling And Working With Sensitive Electronic Equipment.
