1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
3. Create and deliver training programs for employees to promote safety awareness and best practices.
4. Collaborate with department managers to identify and address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
5. Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
6. Ensure all incidents and accidents are properly reported and investigated, and appropriate corrective actions are taken.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant safety regulations and standards.
8. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
9. Lead and mentor a team of safety professionals to ensure a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
10. Communicate safety initiatives and updates to all levels of the organization.
11. Liaise with external agencies and organizations on safety matters.
12. Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to reduce and mitigate workplace hazards.
13. Conduct safety meetings and participate in safety committees to address safety concerns and promote continuous improvement.
14. Monitor and manage safety budgets and resources effectively.
15. Act as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to employees and managers.
