  1. Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  2. Document and report any quality issues or defects found during inspections.
  3. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve any quality issues.
  4. Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspection results and findings.
  5. Follow established procedures for quality control and make recommendations for improvements.
  6. Utilize various quality tools and techniques to identify and address quality concerns.
  7. Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of inspections.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  9. Continuously monitor and evaluate processes to identify opportunities for quality improvement.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to quality control.
  11. Train and mentor new or junior quality inspectors as needed.
  12. Assure compliance with ISO and company quality standards.
  13. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  14. Provide support during audits and assist with implementing corrective actions.
  15. Uphold company values and maintain a positive and professional work environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Quality Control Standards: A Quality Inspector I At Bae Systems Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Standards And Procedures, Including Iso And As9100 Standards, To Ensure Compliance With Industry Regulations.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Spot Small Defects Or Inconsistencies In Products Is Essential In This Role. A Quality Inspector I Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Potential Issues That Could Impact Product Quality.

  • Experience With Inspection Tools And Equipment: This Position Requires Proficiency In Using Various Inspection Tools And Equipment, Such As Calipers, Micrometers, And Gauges, To Measure And Evaluate Product Dimensions And Specifications.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Quality Inspector I, It Is Important To Communicate Any Quality Issues Or Concerns To The Appropriate Individuals Or Departments. This Requires Clear And Effective Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written.

  • Teamwork And Collaboration: Quality Control Is A Team Effort, And A Successful Quality Inspector I Must Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members To Ensure That Quality Standards Are Met. This Includes Working Closely With Production And Engineering Teams To Identify And Resolve Quality Issues.
