- Troubleshoot and identify any issues or defects in products or processes, and work with engineering teams to find solutions.
- Use various testing and measurement equipment to perform quality checks and data analysis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control tests and results, and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, production workers, and suppliers, to improve product quality and resolve quality-related issues.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to engineering teams on potential quality issues.
- Continuously monitor and improve quality control processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols while conducting quality control tests and inspections.
- Train and mentor new quality control technicians on company procedures and standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality control techniques, and make recommendations for their implementation in the company.
Knowledge Of Quality Management Systems: An Ideal Candidate For A Quality Engineering Technician Position At Bae Systems Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Quality Management Systems, Such As Iso 9001 And As9100, And Be Able To Effectively Implement And Maintain These Systems Within The Organization.
