Procurement/Subcontracts Intern

The Supply Chain intern will be responsible for assisting the supply chain in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, including reporting, analytics, purchase order reviews, and supplier management. Help identify specific approaches to create new and improved processes for Ship Repair procurement. Assist/Support the department on a daily basis Access and navigate Ship Repair Electronic Procurement (SREP), Costpoint, e-procure and Kofax Technical Agility (KTA accounts payable). Support procurement mangers in specific projects as identified. Interacts with Material Buyers and Sub Contract Administrators to identify where supplier problems exist and recommends corrective actions.
