- Develop and implement reliability, maintainability, and safety (RMS) strategies for new and existing products.
- Lead and manage a team of RMS engineers to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Conduct thorough analysis and testing to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards in products.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate RMS considerations into product design and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in RMS engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other departments, including operations and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain documentation of RMS processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with RMS requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding RMS strategies and solutions.
- Continuously improve and optimize RMS processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and train junior RMS engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in proposal development and bidding processes for new projects.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
- Ensure all products meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Make recommendations for product improvements based on RMS analysis and data.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Engineering, Preferably In A Relevant Field Such As Mechanical, Electrical Or Systems Engineering.
At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Reliability, Maintainability, And Safety (Rms) Engineering, Preferably In The Defense Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Relevant Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Mil-Std-785, Mil-Std-882, And Do-178B/C.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Risks To System Reliability, Maintainability, And Safety.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Technical Information To Stakeholders.
