  1. Perform maintenance and repairs on complex communication and electronic systems used by the US Navy.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with CEC systems and provide timely and effective solutions.
  3. Install and integrate new CEC equipment and software.
  4. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operation of CEC systems.
  5. Conduct regular system checks and inspections to ensure optimal functionality.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new technology into CEC systems.
  7. Provide technical support to military clients and address any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on CEC systems.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on CEC systems.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
  11. Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to provide updates on project status and any potential issues.
  12. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop new and improved CEC systems.

  14. Travel to military bases and ships as needed to provide on-site support and maintenance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Navy Cec Technician At Bae Systems Should Have A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Engineering Field Such As Electrical, Mechanical, Or Civil Engineering. This Educational Qualification Provides The Necessary Technical Knowledge And Skills Required For The Role.

  • Navy Experience: Prior Experience In The Navy, Especially In The Civil Engineer Corps (Cec) Is Highly Preferred For This Role. This Experience Provides An Understanding Of The Navy's Processes, Procedures, And Culture, Which Is Essential For Successful Performance As A Cec Technician.

  • Professional Certifications: Bae Systems May Require Cec Technicians To Possess Relevant Professional Certifications Such As Certified Construction Manager (Ccm) Or Professional Engineer (Pe). These Certifications Demonstrate A Higher Level Of Expertise And Proficiency In The Field Of Engineering.

  • Security Clearance: As Bae Systems Is A Defense Contractor, The Company May Require Cec Technicians To Have An Active Security Clearance Or The Ability To Obtain One. This Qualification Is Necessary To Access Classified Information And Work On Sensitive Projects For The Navy.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: Cec Technicians At Bae Systems Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Other Team Members, Navy Personnel, And Stakeholders.
