Material Handler II (Onsite)

1. Receive and process incoming materials and equipment, ensuring accurate documentation and proper storage.
2. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and equipment throughout the facility.
3. Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records of all materials and equipment in the facility.
4. Identify and report any damaged or defective materials or equipment to the appropriate personnel.
5. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to production areas.
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling and moving materials and equipment.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are stored in designated locations.
8. Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment for transportation.
9. Monitor and report any potential inventory shortages or discrepancies to management.
10. Operate computer systems and software to track and update inventory levels.
11. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns related to materials and equipment.
12. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy in material handling.
13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
14. Train and mentor new Material Handler I employees as needed.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
