- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and priming according to industry standards.
- Apply paint and coatings to marine vessels using various techniques such as brushing, rolling, and spraying.
- Select and mix paints and coatings to match specific color and texture requirements.
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of paint and coatings.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect self and others from potential hazards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of painting supplies and equipment.
- Inspect and identify any defects or imperfections in painted surfaces.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in painting techniques.

Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Marine Painting, Preferably In A Shipyard Or Heavy Industrial Environment.
Knowledge Of Coating Systems: Familiarity With Various Coating And Painting Systems Used In Marine Environments, Including Epoxy, Polyurethane, And Anti-Corrosive Coatings.
Ability To Read Blueprints: Proficiency In Reading And Understanding Blueprints, Schematics, And Technical Drawings To Accurately Identify Painting Requirements And Specifications.
Safety Training: Completion Of Relevant Safety Training Courses, Including Osha Regulations And Confined Space Entry Procedures, To Ensure Safe Handling Of Painting Materials And Equipment.
Attention To Detail: Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Work With Precision To Ensure Quality Workmanship And Adherence To Project Specifications And Deadlines.
