- Monitor and track all materials and components required for production operations.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Review and analyze production schedules to anticipate material needs and proactively expedite orders as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all materials and orders, including tracking and reporting any delays or issues.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, purchasing, and suppliers, to ensure alignment and timely delivery of materials.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritize urgent material needs and expedite delivery accordingly.
- Ensure all materials meet quality standards and specifications before being released for production.
- Assist in the resolution of any material shortages or issues that may impact production schedules.
- Continuously monitor and report on the status of all materials and orders to management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to identify potential risks and opportunities and make proactive recommendations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide updates on material availability and delivery timelines.
- Train and mentor junior team members as needed.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment, With At Least 3 Years In An Expediter Role.
Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Engineering Drawings And Specifications.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Tight Deadlines.
Knowledge Of Production Processes And Supply Chain Management, Including Experience With Inventory Control And Material Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Suppliers.
