- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners to support business development efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and proposals that meet the needs of our clients.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities in the defense, security, and aerospace industries.
- Manage and track business development activities, including creating and presenting progress reports to senior management.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with potential clients and partners.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in the market to ensure that BAE Systems remains competitive and at the forefront of the industry.
- Mentor and coach team members to ensure their continued professional growth and development.
- Represent BAE Systems at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and build relationships with potential clients and partners.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Business Development, Sales, Or Related Field, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Or Managerial Role.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Technical Field, With Advanced Degree Preferred.
Proven Track Record Of Success In Developing And Executing Business Development Strategies, Identifying And Securing New Business Opportunities, And Expanding Existing Customer Relationships.
Strong Understanding Of The Defense Industry And Bae Systems' Products And Services, With The Ability To Identify And Pursue New Markets And Customers.
Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders And Decision Makers.
