- Operate cranes in a safe and efficient manner to move materials and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate crane operations and maintain production schedules.
- Monitor and report any malfunctions or defects in the crane equipment to supervisors.
- Ensure materials and equipment are properly positioned and secured before lifting or moving.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control, to maintain a high standard of production.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including material movements and equipment usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Continuously improve crane operation techniques and processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members as needed.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to crane operation and safety.
- Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to crane operation and safety.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Operating Cranes In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.
Valid Certification And/Or License To Operate Various Types Of Cranes, Such As Overhead, Mobile, Or Tower Cranes.
Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations Related To Crane Operation, Including Osha And Bae Systems Guidelines.
Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Technical Drawings To Properly Position And Maneuver Crane Equipment.
Excellent Hand-Eye Coordination And Depth Perception, As Well As Physical Strength And Dexterity To Operate Controls And Maneuver Heavy Loads.
