  1. Operate cranes safely and efficiently to move materials and products within the manufacturing facility.
  2. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures while operating cranes.
  3. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  4. Follow all work orders and instructions to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and products.
  5. Work closely with other team members to coordinate crane movement and ensure production flow.
  6. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report any issues or delays.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the crane and its surrounding area.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or issues that may arise during operation.
  9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control.
  10. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge of crane operations.
  11. Continuously monitor crane performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  12. Report any incidents, accidents, or near-misses to supervisors immediately.
  13. Operate cranes in a manner that minimizes downtime and maximizes production output.
  14. Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities.
  15. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in crane technology to suggest improvements or upgrades to equipment and processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Crane Operator Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As The National Commission For The Certification Of Crane Operators (Nccco) Or The Crane Institute Of America.

  • Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Operating Cranes, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Construction Environment. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With A Variety Of Crane Types And Have Experience With Different Types Of Loads.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Regulations: A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Protocols Related To Crane Operation Is Essential. The Candidate Should Be Able To Identify Potential Hazards And Take Appropriate Safety Measures To Prevent Accidents.

  • Physical Ability: Crane Operation Requires Physical Strength And Stamina, As Well As Good Hand-Eye Coordination. The Candidate Must Be Able To Lift And Move Heavy Loads, And Have The Dexterity To Operate Controls And Make Precise Movements.

  • Attention To Detail: Being A Crane Operator Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail And The Ability To Follow Instructions Accurately. The Candidate Must Be Able To Read And Interpret Load Charts And Blueprints, And Have A Strong Understanding Of Rigging Techniques.
