- Operate and maintain CNC machines according to company and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Set up and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure proper functioning and production of quality parts.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and meet production goals.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Continuously improve machining processes and techniques to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and mentor junior machinists to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Keep accurate records of production and maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to discuss progress, issues, and solutions.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in CNC machining technology.
- Follow company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Actively participate in meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and cost-saving measures.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Operating And Programming Cnc Machines, Preferably In A Defense Or Aerospace Manufacturing Environment.
Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Complex Engineering Blueprints, Specifications, And Technical Drawings.
Strong Knowledge Of G-Code And M-Code Programming Languages And Ability To Troubleshoot And Modify Programs As Needed.
Familiarity With A Variety Of Cnc Machines, Including Lathes, Mills, And Grinders, And The Ability To Set Up And Operate Multiple Machines Simultaneously.
Demonstrated Ability To Perform Precision Measurements Using A Variety Of Tools And Equipment Such As Micrometers, Calipers, And Height Gauges.
