- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of BAE Systems' communication systems and security protocols.
- Manage all aspects of communications security (COMSEC) for the company, including key management, equipment maintenance, and audits.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of secure communication systems for clients, ensuring compliance with government regulations and contract requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees to promote best practices and compliance with security protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all COMSEC-related inquiries and issues.
- Research and recommend new technologies and strategies to enhance the security and efficiency of communication systems.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in communication and security technologies.
- Manage and mentor a team of CDS engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Represent BAE Systems in meetings and discussions with clients and government officials regarding COMSEC-related matters.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Secure Communication Systems.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cryptographic Principles And Techniques.
Experience With Comsec Management And Compliance Regulations, Including Nsa/Css Policies And Procedures.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
