  1. Develop and implement security procedures and protocols for the contractor program in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day security operations of the contractor program, including physical security, personnel security, and information security.
  3. Conduct security briefings and trainings for employees and contractors to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security clearances, access controls, and other security-related documents.
  5. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the contractor program.
  7. Monitor and respond to any security incidents or breaches, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  8. Serve as the primary point of contact for government security representatives and coordinate security-related activities with external stakeholders.
  9. Stay informed about changes in security regulations and industry best practices, and make recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures.
  10. Foster a culture of security awareness and promote a strong security mindset among all employees and contractors.

Job Qualifications
  • Security Clearance: The Acpso Must Possess An Active And Current Security Clearance, Typically At The Top Secret Level, In Order To Access Classified Information And Facilities.

  • Security Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Security Management, Preferably In A Government Or Defense Contractor Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Government Regulations: The Acpso Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Security Regulations And Guidelines Set By The Department Of Defense (Dod) And Other Government Agencies, Such As The National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (Nispom).

  • Strong Communication Skills: As The Liaison Between Bae Systems And The Government, The Acpso Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate Security Requirements And Updates To Both Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Attention To Detail: The Acpso Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Accurately Review And Maintain Security Documentation, Such As Security Plans, Procedures, And Incident Reports. They Must Also Have The Ability To Identify And Address Potential Security Risks And Vulnerabilities.
