- Maintain and repair advanced air traffic control systems and equipment, including radar, communication, and navigation systems
- Conduct routine and emergency maintenance on equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing your strong technical background and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with air traffic controllers to ensure that all equipment is meeting their needs and functioning as expected
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Monitor and analyze system performance to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Stay current on industry developments and advancements in air traffic control technology, and make recommendations for updates and upgrades as needed
- Train and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge in air traffic control engineering
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment and systems
- Communicate effectively with other team members and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation
- Act as a representative of BAE Systems, maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Aviation Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Air Traffic Control Systems Engineering.
Advanced Knowledge Of Air Traffic Control Systems And Equipment, Including Radar, Communications, And Navigation Systems.
Experience With Installation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting Of Air Traffic Control Systems.
Familiarity With Faa Regulations And Standards For Air Traffic Control Systems.
