  1. Develop and implement tax strategies for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
  2. Lead and manage the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and identify tax risks and opportunities.
  3. Provide expert tax advice and guidance to the company's leadership team and other stakeholders.
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex tax issues, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to key decision makers.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are properly addressed in all aspects of the M&A process.
  6. Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess their potential impact on the company's M&A activities.
  7. Oversee the preparation and review of tax calculations, provisions, and disclosures related to mergers and acquisitions.
  8. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and other third-party service providers, as needed.
  9. Monitor and report on the company's tax position and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  10. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Tax Laws And Regulations Related To Mergers And Acquisitions, Including Knowledge Of International Tax Laws And Transfer Pricing Principles.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Tax, Preferably In A Big 4 Accounting Firm Or Corporate Tax Department With A Focus On M&A Transactions.

  • Experience In Leading And Managing Tax Due Diligence And Integration Processes For Complex M&A Deals.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Advisors.

  • Cpa And/Or Advanced Degree In Taxation Or Related Field Preferred.
