- Oversee and manage the company's global accounts payable processes.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Review and reconcile accounts payable aging reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage a team of accounts payable professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.
- Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in accounting principles and regulations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and present reports on accounts payable performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Provide training and support to team members on accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Continuously monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes related to accounts payable.

Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Global Accounts Payable Manager At Autodesk Should Have A Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field. This Educational Background Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Manage A Global Accounts Payable Team And Handle Complex Financial Transactions.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounts Payable: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In An Accounts Payable Role, Preferably In A Global Organization. This Experience Will Ensure That The Individual Has A Strong Understanding Of Global Accounting Practices, Regulations, And Procedures.
Knowledge Of International Accounting Standards: As A Global Company, Autodesk Operates In Multiple Countries With Different Accounting Regulations. A Qualified Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of International Accounting Standards, Such As Gaap And Ifrs, To Ensure Compliance With All Financial Reporting Requirements.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: A Global Accounts Payable Manager Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Accounts Payable Professionals Across Different Regions. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential To Effectively Lead, Motivate, And Communicate With Team Members From Diverse Backgrounds And Cultures.
Familiarity With Accounting Software And Systems: Autodesk Uses Various Accounting Software And Systems, Such As Sap And Oracle. A Qualified Candidate Should Have Experience Working With These Systems And Be Able To Adapt To New Technologies Quickly. Additionally, Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Financial Analysis Tools Is Also Required For This Role.
