We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations, Events and Experiences to join our growing team.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for global events and experiences, aligned with Autodesk's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team responsible for executing events and experiences, including budgeting, planning, logistics, and execution.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of event and experience strategies.
  4. Identify and secure event and experience partnerships and sponsorships to enhance the overall impact and reach of Autodesk's events.
  5. Analyze event and experience data and metrics to continually improve and optimize strategies and processes.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure Autodesk's events and experiences are innovative and cutting-edge.
  7. Oversee the development and execution of event and experience marketing materials and collateral.
  8. Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and other external partners to ensure high-quality and cost-effective event and experience delivery.
  9. Develop and maintain event and experience budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-efficiency.
  10. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers, to enhance the impact and success of Autodesk's events and experiences.
  11. Ensure all events and experiences reflect Autodesk's brand and values, and effectively communicate the company's message and mission.
  12. Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during event and experience planning and execution.
  13. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on event and experience performance and ROI.
  14. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve event and experience processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.

  • Extensive Experience In Event Planning And Execution: A Qualified Director Of Operations, Events And Experiences At Autodesk Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Planning And Executing Large-Scale Events, Such As Conferences, Trade Shows, And Product Launches. This Includes Managing Budgets, Timelines, Vendors, And Logistics.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Event Planners And Coordinators. They Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Goals.

  • Exceptional Organizational And Project Management Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Organization And The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Exceptional Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Create Detailed Timelines, Manage Budgets, And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: In Addition To Managing Day-To-Day Operations, A Director Of Operations, Events And Experiences At Autodesk Should Also Possess Strong Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills. This Includes The Ability To Identify Potential Challenges And Create Proactive Solutions To Ensure The Success Of Events And Experiences.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Trends And Best Practices: To Stay Ahead Of The Competition, Autodesk Needs A Director Who Is Knowledgeable About Industry Trends And Best Practices In Event Planning And Management. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date On The Latest Event Technologies, Marketing Strategies, And Customer Engagement Tactics To Continuously Improve The Company's Events And Experiences.
