Job Description

Identify, obtain agreement, and lead transformational strategic sourcing programs, following a standard strategic sourcing methodology. Evaluate professional services, consulting services, and contingent labor sourcing practices at Atlassian, implementing upon opportunities for improvement Personally lead important programs, serving as the primary liaison between Legal, Finance, Project managers and other important end-to-end strategic sourcing process including category analysis, supplier selection, and contract negotiation. Establish relationships across the teams to ensure active and early participation in supplier related matters. Provide rigorous analysis of spend data and industry dynamics to Identify sourcing programs. Identify process improvements to increase efficiencies and improve spend opportunities. Lead the planning and launch of RFIs and RFPs.

Job Qualifications

  • 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with experience sourcing for professional, consulting, and outsourced services

  • Experience sourcing software related purchases with a focus on SaaS is plus

  • Expert in both financial and business matters, including commercial terms for strategic contracts

  • Knowledge of legal and technology related contract terms and conditions
