- Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor security systems and tools to proactively detect and respond to security incidents.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root cause and develop effective remediation plans.
- Develop and maintain security incident response procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular audits and tests to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on security best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of security.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours security incident response.
- Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for employees.
- Continuously improve security processes and procedures to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
- Communicate security risks and incidents to senior management and recommend appropriate actions.
- Participate in security incident response exercises to test and improve incident response plans.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on security-related matters and provide guidance to other teams as needed.
Extensive Knowledge Of Security Operations And Incident Response Procedures, Including Experience With Various Security Tools And Technologies.
Strong Understanding Of Network Security Principles And Protocols, Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Vpns.
Experience Managing And Leading Security Incidents, Including Conducting Investigations And Producing Timely Post-Incident Reports.
Demonstrated Ability To Assess And Mitigate Security Risks, And Develop Proactive Security Measures.
Excellent Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
