At Atlassian, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Support Engineer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer service for our popular collaboration tool, Confluence. As a Senior Product Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless and positive experience with Confluence.   1. Provide exceptional technical support to customers using Confluence, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their issues.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert on Confluence, staying up-to-date on new features and updates to effectively troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and engineering, to identify and resolve complex customer issues.
  4. Utilize strong problem-solving skills to investigate and diagnose customer-reported problems, identifying the root cause and providing a solution.
  5. Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing clear and concise explanations and updates on their support cases.
  6. Proactively identify and escalate any critical or recurring issues to the appropriate teams for further investigation and resolution.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and providing proactive support and guidance.
  8. Contribute to the improvement of support processes and procedures, providing feedback and suggestions for enhancing the customer experience.
  9. Mentor and train junior support engineers to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality support to customers.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer support, continuously learning and improving skills to provide the best possible support experience for customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Technical Customer Support: A Senior Product Support Engineer Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Providing Technical Support To Customers, Preferably In A Software Or Technology Company. They Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Troubleshooting Techniques And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Confluence: As A Senior Product Support Engineer For Confluence, The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Product And Its Features. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Confluence Modules, Integrations, And Configurations. They Should Also Be Familiar With Common Issues And Their Solutions.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Senior Product Support Engineers Are The First Line Of Defense For Customers Facing Technical Issues. They Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Identify The Root Cause Of An Issue And Provide Effective Solutions. This Requires The Ability To Think Critically And Work Under Pressure.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Senior Product Support Engineer Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Internal Teams. They Should Be Able To Explain Complex Technical Concepts In A Clear And Concise Manner And Build Strong Relationships With Stakeholders.

  • Project Management Experience: In Addition To Providing Technical Support, A Senior Product Support Engineer May Also Be Responsible For Managing Projects Related To Product Support And Improvements. Therefore, Experience In Project Management, Including Planning, Prioritization, And Execution, Is A Valuable Qualification For This Role.
