We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and help us build and maintain a world-class technology platform. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure to support our rapidly growing business.   1. Design and implement new infrastructure solutions to support the growth of the business.
  2. Maintain and improve existing infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
  4. Monitor and analyze system performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
  5. Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance the infrastructure and drive innovation.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes and procedures.
  7. Lead and mentor junior engineers on the team.
  8. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with other systems.
  9. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical infrastructure incidents.
  10. Identify and implement security best practices to ensure the safety of our technology platform.
  11. Work closely with the DevOps team to automate infrastructure processes and tasks.
  12. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  13. Continuously improve the infrastructure by implementing new tools and processes.
  14. Act as a technical resource for the Infrastructure team and provide guidance on complex issues.
  15. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for improving our infrastructure.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Infrastructure Design And Implementation: The Ideal Candidate For A Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Role At Atlassian Should Have A Strong Background In Designing And Implementing Infrastructure Solutions For Large-Scale Systems. This Includes Expertise In Network Architecture, Server Management, And Database Administration.

  • Proficiency In Cloud Technologies: Atlassian Is A Leading Provider Of Cloud-Based Collaboration And Productivity Tools. As Such, The Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Must Have Deep Knowledge And Experience In Working With Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure Or Gcp.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Complex Technical Issues, So They Must Possess Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills. This Includes The Ability To Analyze System Logs, Monitor System Performance, And Implement Solutions To Improve System Reliability And Performance.

  • Project Management Experience: Atlassian Is A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Organization, And The Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Will Be Expected To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Project Management And Be Able To Effectively Prioritize Tasks, Meet Deadlines, And Communicate Project Progress To Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Engineer, Infrastructure, Effective Communication And Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams Will Be Crucial. The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders In A Clear And Concise Manner. They Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Engineers, Developers, And Product Managers To Drive Projects To Successful Completion.
